Can a gray, weathered fence be brought back?
Usually yes. Most gray is surface oxidation and organic growth rather than failed wood. A soft wash strips that layer and exposes the sound wood underneath, which reads several shades lighter immediately. Boards that are already soft or split need replacing, and we tell you that up front.
Do you clean both sides of the fence?
Yes, when both sides are accessible. The neighbor-facing side is often the dirtier one because it gets less sun. If a side sits on property we cannot reach, we clean everything reachable and note what was skipped so nothing is a surprise.
How soon can I stain after cleaning?
